13 Jul 2009 - The Day Southway Stood Still!

Last Friday, pupils at Southway had a unique and exciting encounter with a UFO on the playing field.  Bafflingly, parts of an alien craft were found embedded in the ground and what appeared to be some form of blue jelly was scattered around the surrounding area.  Police were on the scene remarkably quickly and with the help of members of staff and co-operative children, soon got everything under control.  Mrs Law was none the worse for her 'disappearance' and was back in school in the afternoon, helping police with their enquiries.

Of course, this was all in aid of 'Everybody Writes', a primary school project designed to celebrate and develop children's imagination and writing skills, through enthusing and motivating.
